About the Author:
Vandana Sood, a postgraduate in English, was formerly the headmistress of the primary section of East Point School, Vasundhara Enclave, Delhi. With a teaching experience of over three decades, she is well acquainted with the challenges of teaching the English language in Indian contexts. Having retired, she continues to serve the school in a managerial role and as a mentor to the primary section.
About the Editor:
Chandra Nisha Singh has a master's degree in English Literature, and an MPhil and a PhD in Comparative Indian Literature from the University of Delhi. She was a Senior Reader in the Department of English at Lakshmibai College, Delhi. She has worked on a series of textbooks in English for primary and secondary classes. She is also one of the editors of the SCERT English textbooks.
