Dear Sir/Madam
Subject: Time to Tap the Full Potential of Solar Energy
I am writing this letter to draw the attention of the people and concerned authorities towards
the need to switch to solar power.
The rapid depletion of fossil fuel resources is a matter of deep concern. It can cause a hike in
the prices of oil and electricity, resulting in economic recession, poverty and loss of lives. The
burning of fossil fuels also majorly contributes to global warming and pollution. To reduce
human dependency on fossil fuels and prevent irreversible damage to nature, it is imperative
that people turn their focus on solar power.
Solar energy is infinite and harmless. It is a cheap source of power that does not produce any
pollution. In a tropical country like India, setting up solar power units is a smart choice as it
will lead to optimum use of sunlight. Solar transport, batteries, flashlights, gadgets, heaters,
cookers and lighting are some of the viable options to harness and use the sun’s energy.
Solar energy is the resource of the future. Optimum utilisation of this clean and green energy
will go a long way in improving the quality of our lives and saving our planet.
Yours faithfully
Naufel Ibrahim
